Vice President, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters

Mr. Williams graduated from the University of BC with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has subsequently held a variety of executive positions domestically and internationally. Much of his career was spent in such countries as Turkey, USA, Australia and the Netherlands. More recently, he has held leadership positions in Canada as the CEO of several world class manufacturing enterprises based here in British Columbia. After serving on the Board of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters for many years, in 2008 he became CME's Executive Director for British Columbia.

CME is Canada's largest industry and trade organization representing businesses that employ over three million Canadians. Craig is committed to developing leading-edge training programs to strengthen and to improve the competitiveness of BC's manufacturing sector. Pull Ahead BC provides an opportunity for BC manufacturers to leverage a collaborative Lean and workplace essential skills network and to work in partnership with the BC Ministry of Advanced Education to engage workers, solve employer challenges and improve the productivity of BC business.

Peter Agnew, Pull Ahead BC Project Manager, has over 20 years experience in project management, marketing and entrepreneurship.

He has produced innovative software, been a team leader for Vancouver's Olympic bid volunteers and is the Inventor of the True Genius Self-Marketing program which he has delivered to over 1000 technology and other professionals in British Columbia.

A UBC-trained project manager and an avid participant in team sports, Peter loves working with the innovative Pull Ahead BC project - designed to help BC manufacturers' achieve increased productivity, increased worker skills and global competitiveness.

Desiree King

Desiree King

Project and Finance Coordinator

Desiree King has been managing Federally and Provincially funded training contracts for 22 years. A proven entrepreneur, she owned and operated a successful private college for 10 years. Desiree has lived and worked in the Cariboo, the Okanagan and in Vancouver for 17 years. Desiree has an wide-ranging HR background and has consulted in development for small businesses and worked extensively in proposal and curriculum development. Desiree is the PABC project and finance coordinator.
